Whether you are already on the books for a life-changing boudoir experience, or it's something you are still tossing around (hint hint- the holiday season is the perfect time to take that plunge!), one thing a lot of clients ask is :

what the heck do I wear?!

The idea of finding outfits for our session together can really seem like a daunting task. I mean, there is just so much to take into consideration!

• Is it flattering?
  

• Is it revealing enough?
  

• Is it the right color?
  

• Is the texture too much?
  

• Is there not enough texture?
  

• Will my significant other like it?
  

• Will I ever wear this again?
  

• What if I don't like/own lingerie?
  

• Will I cover my *insert "problem area" here*

WOOOSHA. I know, this can feel really overwhelming, but overwhelming is the last thing we want your to feel when thinking about your upcoming session! And can I be completely honest with you? The success of your session does not hinge on your outfits.

Here is what really matters.

1. That you love your outfit choices. Don't focus on whether or not you spent a ton of money on them, and do not base your choices on someone else's opinion of them. I want you to love them. Whether this is one great outfit or six that you bring with you, just focus on how they make you feel. If you don't feel like a goddess in them keep searching!

2. Simple is best. Don't think that you have to have a matching bra/panties with a garter belt & fishnets &heels. If this is you? ROCK IT, girlfriend. If a over sized hoodie, significant other's favorite jersey, or your favorite fringe crop is what makes you feel the most confident and gorgeous, ROCK THAT! Keep it simple, and stay true to who YOU are. Don't think you have to go out and purchase a ton of accessories if it's not something you'll feel like yourself in.We keep these photos to the best representation of YOU, and YOU are a big part of that!

3. Quality is 1000 tines more important than quantity. If you have even just ONE piece that fits you great and that you feel like a goddess in? That is ENOUGH.

4. STILL not sure- we have a client closet! Yes that's right, I have someone who will discuss your style with you, and go through the client closet we have available at the studio to pick out some things that will highlight both your favorite features, but also you rocking personality!
   

Outfit selection should not be stressful! Listen to your gut, go for what makes you feel AMAZING, and make sure it fits properly. If you get stuck, don't worry, part of our job is to guide you. When you book a session, you will receive a welcome packet. The packet outlines some helpful tips, but if you're still struggling, reach out and we will bring you in for a complimentary style session!
