I want to book a boudoir session but...

Hey gorgeous goddess.... are you ready to become an Eve Goddess??

I know you are sitting there thinking "YES! I want to be an Eve Goddess! I want to book a boudoir experience with Garden of Eve Photography, BUT I'M SO SCARED."

Here's a little bit of truth- a lot of people are! Its asking a lot to ask you to come in and strip down for a woman behind a camera you barely even know- but a lot of what clients say they are afraid of are misconceptions & personal mind blocks. Lets go through a few and get you in front of my camera. By the end of your experience, you will be GLOWING like the Eve Goddess you are.

#1: WEIGHT Any woman can come up with a list of things she doesn't love about her body, or things she'd change. Weight is top of the list for many women- whether you think you're too big or too small. Your weight will always fluctuate as you deal with day-to-day, and life tends to get in the way of major weight loss goals--this means that weight has a way of staying the excuse FOREVER.

So are you going to put it off forever? Or are you going to clear the weight hurdle & embrace your curves, marks, and other "imperfections"?

So, girlfriend how are we going to get there? First, give yourself some GRACE! Even if you don't have the body you rocked at 18, your body is beautiful and has done some seriously beautiful things. You are still you even if you don't have a six pack & slim legs like a college track star. SEXY isn't defined by a number on a scale! Beauty doesn't have a number. I know that sounds cliché, but its the truth.

A boudoir experience with Garden of Eve Photography is designed to celebrate your right now body, so that you can love yourself even in the toughest of times. Boudoir allows you to see yourself through the eyes of another--it is a very powerful thing!

Second: Those who truly love you find you beautiful no matter what. That's right, your hubby (or wifey), family/friends, children still love and find you worthy even when you feel disgusting and unworthy. Remember you are your own WORST critic! Third, remember that a photographer is knowledgeable in posing/lighting you to flatter your body type. This is why I ask in all of my pre-session consultations if there is anything you would want hidden or de-emphasized. Don't love your stomach? I've got poses to hide it. The right outfits can help to conceal areas you aren't in love with as well. This is HUGE! The proper outfits are VERY important. Don't let that be another fear though! #2: MONEY I know this is a big one, Goddesses. I get that funds are precious, that there is always something "else" it could be spent on, that "other things" can be a "priority", that it's easy to let the guilt creep in when we attempt to do something for ourselves.

Hear me out, though.

YOU are a priority. Sometimes doing something for you turns into doing something for them! You want to be the best you can for those that you love. You want to be present in their lives. They deserve the best version of you. I'm here to tell you (from experience)-the only way that will happen is if you are taking care of you too- that can be physically, mentally, and emotionally. You deserve to do something for you, too. You can only pour into those you love, if the cup you are pouring from isn't empty. Self love is easier to come by when you feel confident, re-charged, valued, worthy--all those words can be SO helpful to you on your self-love journey, and a boudoir experience can bring you all of those feelings.

So realistically, how do we break through the money block?

Take advantage of one of our amazing payment plans, designed specifically for you goddesses who love all things budget. We have flexible, custom payment plan options that I personally designed for ALL women (yes, that includes stay-at-home moms, single moms, etc).

Re-frame your mindset--remind yourself that you can always make more money, but that time is a non-renewable resource. Some opportunities are once-in-a-lifetime!

#3: DISTANCE We service Blair county (Pennsylvania) and all of the surrounding areas. Anywhere within 50 miles of 16602 is eligible for an in-home, or on-location experience for no travel cost associated. If you are outside that zone, you can travel to us, or a minimal fee can be added to your payment plan.

Coming next year, we will be adding another option for a Boudoir Party Experience, where I can come straight to your door (or a local hotel), and we can do a boudoir experience with you and a handful of your closest girlfriends! #4: PARALYZING FEAR There has never been anyone to walk into our studio doors without any fear. A healthy level of fear is a BEAUTIFUL thing. It means your endorphins are running, you aren't numb, and the excitement will come through in your photos. However, if you are allowing yourself to go beyond butterflies in your stomach, let's nip that in the bud!

Remember, when picking your photographer, you have chosen to work with a specialist. At Garden of Eve Photography we specialize in intimate photography- all types. Photographing women is what I do. I know just how to have you flip your hair, how to pose your body, where your eyes should look, what to do with your hands, even down to HOW you breathe. There is not a single moment I'm not coaching you through your fear (unless we are laughing uncontrollably - girls just wanna have fun).

It's true: All the things we REALLY want are on the other side of fear. Why? To see if we really want them. You have to be willing to go through the butterflies and feelings of wanting to puke in order to reap the ultimate reward--> a chance to see you, and not the "you" that you see, but the you that I (and those you love) see.

The nerves will melt away soon after we start. I do my best to connect with all of my clients before we even get together for your session, and really make it feel like we're besties or sisters!
